reynardo: (Hermione Smut)
I was asked to pinch-hit for [livejournal.com profile] smutty_claus, and wrote The Path in the Woods for [livejournal.com profile] flipflop_diva (who left the nicest review on it! That is why we write!).

Set during Deathly Hallows, not long after Ron stormed off. Hermione is crying and Harry is trying to comfort her. It does have sex - oh come on - it's for [livejournal.com profile] smutty_claus! But the sex is enthusiastically consensual and I'm very happy with it.

And if you like my beloved [livejournal.com profile] lederhosen's edits, the edited version is available for download here. But do not read while drinking. Splorfles are inevitable.

I got asked to pinch hit in a couple of fests. Here's my [livejournal.com profile] sshg_giftfest piece - Erasing. (Rated PG) Where Severus can't get rid of the Dark Mark, and turns to Hermione for help.

The [livejournal.com profile] hprarefest has just revealed the authors, and I have my hand up as the writer of "The Papers".

Summary: Ron has died in a workplace accident, but he's left something behind that needs sorting out. It's up to Harry and Hermione to work out the issue...

I warn you now, though. It was supposed to be a serious story, based on the prompt of "Her deceased husband asked him to look after her once he was gone, and he spends the rest of his life doing exactly that.." And like happens so often, it started seriously, and slid slowly into something quite ... different.

Enjoy.

Yes, it's fic fest time. And now I'm confessing to writing for [livejournal.com profile] smutty_claus, after the mods graciously allowed those of us who had previously sinned (*grovel grovel prostrate self before mods*) to be allowed to participate again and regain our virtue.

So if you want to read Harry Potter based smut fic, look no further.

Note - completely NOT safe for work...

For the [livejournal.com profile] sshg_giftfest, I took a pile of prompts from [livejournal.com profile] teshara, and wrote a fairy story.

Perditius

(The Lost One)

A story of how, fifty years after the War, Hermione solved a mystery and discovered the truth about what had happened to Severus Snape.

And if you need something a little bit silly for your post-Christmas come-down, here's the link to the one with my editor's notes on it. You see, while he's a lovely editor, he doesn't quite understand why Severus/Hermione is a thing. So the notes are always worth the reading.

Because the current Bingo is for prompts on the [livejournal.com profile] sshg_exchange, and as [livejournal.com profile] mundungus42 pointed out:

What, do you think I'd ask for MLC/MPREG/Regency/Andrew Lloyd Webber songfic with adowable babies just to win at Bingo? I am fully cognizant of the dangers of receiving such a thing and having to squee over it!

And so you know what happened next... )

SSHGGillian
[livejournal.com profile] magicalpresence very sweetly drew this for me as a commission. It's a scene from Time for a Change that I wrote for last year's [livejournal.com profile] sshg_exchange.

Quick backstory - Hermione has been using a dating service where you send the hair of the person you want to date to them, and they use that hair to make a look-alike date for you for an hour. This time, though, it seems that Hermione's date wasn't an ersatz one:

He pulled back and looked with shock and horror into her eyes. "HERMIONE?"

"Oh sweet Merlin – Severus – is that the real you?"

"As real as you." He scrabbled out of the bed, a pillow clutched at a strategic level. Hermione sat up, the sheets falling to her waist as she held her head in her hands and tried to make some sense of it all. Finally something else clicked into place.

"So you … all this time .. every Saturday night …"

"Saturday nights I spend my time as befits an adult, in private. And now you've deliberately invaded … " He reached for his robes, still trying to hold the pillow as he shook them out. Hermione reached the logical conclusion and climbed out of bed, wrapping the counterpane around her. She walked up to Severus, who backed up to the wall. Eventually he couldn't go any further, and he looked in horror as she approached, but then she gently took his hand in hers.

"Am I right in assuming, Severus, that you spent the previous two Saturday nights with a simulacrum of myself because you were afraid to ask the real me to join you? Were you afraid I would say 'no'? Or was it easier practice before the real thing?"

"Do you honestly mean to tell me", he spat out, unable to meet her eyes, "that you had no idea that this is what I was doing?"

"See for yourself, Severus. Look into my mind and tell me what you see there."
