I would like to remind her that there are worse sites out there than Leonardo Di Caprio love poetry sites.
I've made the marzipan pigs in wedding gear for the top of the FIL's cake. There's now a black food colouring, so paining the male suit is gong to be easy, but it's really hard to find white food-colouring. I'm going to fake it with icing. Pics to follow.
Hit the shops for some basic supplies (and some non-basic ones) and was in the hair-supply shop while the harassed sales guy was madly dashing around trying to fix a couple of other problems. I said to him "It's fine, I'm in no hurry and am enjoying the browsing" as I could see him trying to decide between the other rather angry looking customer and me, and he thanked me and went to her. When he got to me (and was very helpful with some hairbrush recommendations), he threw in two extra hair treatments for free as a thank-you. I am not complaining!
Almost had a complete disaster, though, because it was only as I was working out arrival times in Melbourne for the car hire that I realised that I hadn't actually bookedda_norvegicus's and my flight down! We'd been trying to work out our flight and lederhosen's and the flights back and extra days in Melbourne - and I must have had "single" chosen for the flight instead of "return" and not realised it. Was still able to book tickets, though, thank goodness.
And it doesn't help when the rather-expensive-delivery-cost-secret-present-for-Ratboy arrives, and he casually mentions not 10 minutes later (not realising what it is) that it's available in the book section of Games Parasite for what's probably a much cheaper price. Excuse me while I cry quietly in the corner.
