Cold, colder, coldest
Jun. 18th, 2002 06:51 pmIt is bitter outside. Even in the city it was cold enough to need a jacket, jumper and skivvy.
So - someone please tell me why it is that the quoted price for the reception has jumped by over 25%? Why the drinks are now min $35 instead of $25, and why not serving the wedding cake costs $5 each? The events manager changed between our first quote and our confirmation, but it all seems so hard...
Mind you, playing musical chairs has been fun. I hold the whip hand. I have the power.
I have one seat left at the table with my grandmother. Anyone misbehaves or upsets me in the next three weeks and they get seated there.
The holiday costs are also blowing out. After this, it's strict economy and a day job. Such is life.
