I hate Wednesdays...

And mostly because in the group I'm in for Accounting Information for Managers, there is a freeloader.

We have to do three assignments. There have been 2 assignments to be done in the group so far, and he's contributed nothing.

We're giving him until Saturday to come up with which questions in Assignment 3 he's doing. And if he doesn't deliver, he gets no marks.

I do hate having to be firm, but it must be done.

3 Things I wish I'd been taught when I was younger.

1) To praise oneself when one has done a good job. the "Victory Chicken Dance, usually performed after a successful computer fix, should have been part of my repertory as a child - self-confidence would have been so much higher.

2) That you don't always have to be "unselfish" - (better known as a "doormat") - speak up when you're being put down, taken advantage of or otherwise used.

3) The incredible power of the hormones, or what sex is really about (and how to decide if it's what you really want).

I want to go to schools and teach the above to 6, 10 and 14 year olds in that order.
