A lovely evening
Jun. 29th, 2004 11:50 pmI'm not going to name names (because it would take the whole bloody post) but I had a wonderful time tonight at Breizoz Creperie celebrating 40 glorious years and many more lovely friends and relatives (sometimes both at once). I have decided to grow old disgracefully, to take Oscar Wilde to heart (he wrote: To regret one’s own experience is to arrest one’s own development) and to accept all the failings and successes and joys and sorrows and learning that have made me who I am.
No, I don't even regret the scary trousers, the fluffy bunny ears, or that night behind D block at the Sydney Tech Christmas Party.
Forward. Ever onwards. Always.
