In other news, Shhhhhhhh. The mortgage person has given us a reasonable level we should be ok borrowing, so we now have a hard upper limit for bidding at auctions. I actually like the fact that it is a hard limit - it will be very hard turning away when that limit is passed, but at least I won't have the temptation to go "just a bit further..."
