I first heard it some time in 1976, when a cousin played the intro on his electric guitar. I had odd music tastes then so didn't listen to a lot of commercial radio, and this had definitely not been on "Top of the Pops" when I was madly watching in England in the mid-70s.

I blame the drugs.

I'm going to do NaNoWriMo this year. I've always wanted to, and it's always been a difficult time, so this year, dammit, those plot bunnies are going to get their outing.

In other news, had an outing to Chadstone a little while ago and got to hoon about in an electric wheelchair. Now to find out what the "turtle" button was for... But oh god that's wiped me.
