What dogorcuton is trying to say here is that the Vet just rang to say that the lump on his ear was a harmless sebaceous cell benign lump that's been completely removed, so he's not going to have another horrid ear-losing head-coning family-stressing operation 'cause all is good.

In other news, I've almost killed off King Edward in my Nano. But Robert finally kissed Enid, then she told him she wasn't going to be swept off her feet by a rich wastrel. Honestly, when your characters go and refuse the man you've just spent 12 chapters setting them up with! Ingrates, the lot of them.
