Things that are nice, things that ain't.

Let us start with the lovely and delightful first. 17catherines is someone I will always be glad to see coming through my door. That she came through last night while I was struggling to make home-made pasta was a total blessing. I had bitten off far more than I could chew, had no idea how much work it was, and she turned a major disaster into a rather lovely pasta dinner. I might have provided pudding involved with dinner. Perhaps. Steamed pudding with home-made custard which goes far too well with dessert wine.

Also very nice was hanging out today with crazyjane13, who does not mince her words. As someone who doesn't get subtle, I thoroughly enjoy spending time with her and just ... hanging. There might have been pudding involved too, this time without wine.

On the "ain't" side, my beloved lederhosen is off to Canberra for a few days for work. I will cope. I will take the opportunity to eat onions :-)

And after a couple of strangers "followed" me on Twitter today, I was inspired to write ( a rather terse letter to Pioneer )

Heh. Having heard stories from how fast companies now react to such notifications, I look forward to their response.

Cute, eh? You can click on the picture to bring up the large view. I knitted this for my niece/nephew who is due in a few weeks - this is the 6 month size.

Remember when I asked about the number of tentacles on Cthulhu? I also knitted a 4-6 month sized set of overalls with a green tentacular Cthulhu on the front, in similar bright colours. Alas, I failed to get a pic before I sent it on, but I've asked them to send a picture back.

And with some of the leftover wool, I made myself a new mobile phone case. crazyjane13 knows why it is such a geeky item - anyone else want to guess why?
