When a mother first teaches her child about the intricacies of eyeliner.

It probably would have worked better if a) the recipient hadn't flinched at awkward moments, and b) if I had had a bit more practice at putting it on myself.

But I was very proud when my dear little one went off with a friend to Supernova.
