Something not to feel guilty about
May. 25th, 2016 10:18 pmI'm currently in a pile of tests and checkups and all sots of things to try and find out why I'm tired all the time (and putting on weight). Blood tests, physical checkups, colonoscopy, and yay-scull-the-glucose-ICK!
But one thing that came up about my weight was "cut down processed foods".
And I thought over that tonight, and realised that we have a home-cooked meal, from scratch, 6 nights a week. Seriously. Peel carrots, boil spuds, all the stuff.
Which also involves supermarket or markets and all the hard work involved with that.
So stuff that. Yes, I do have food that obviously has been through the processor more than a few times, but I think I'm damned well doing my bit.
No more guilt.
