An evil, evil person pointed me to Unshelved, a comic about libraries and librarians. And it even appears as an LJ feed (overdue_comic).

I'm now trying to avoid buying one of their t-shirts. I like the idea of "Will Work For Books", but the book bag is too small.*



* Every book bag is too small if , when packed full, I can still lift it.

Lifting book bags is how I got the muscles I have today... Wandered down to the local garden centre yesterday, and picked up some pre-composted cow manure. The guy at the counter was apologetic about not having been outside to notice that I was picking heavy things up and therefore help, and was duly a little stunned when I suggested that if I couldn't pick the bags up in the store, then I couldn't lift them out of my trolley when I got home again. After thinking about it a little, he conceded that I had a point.

Thank you for the comment left on my LJ. I actually found your LJ via the melbournegoths community. I don't really know fizit IRL, but l know her Library.. its ultra cool, l am a regular patron there :-) (sad but true, a librarian who hangs around in other libraries :-)
