I was on my way home and saw all the lights. You could still park at Krispy Kreme, and look through the fence on the other side of the road.

And don't be fooled by my crappy soggy mobile phone photo. I was probably about 100m away, but I have a feeling he might have been spirited away by then.

Huh, I thought the whole Sydney thing was a ruse to cover the trip to Iraq. (That's how CNN reported it yesterday.) I guess it really was a part of the agenda.

I still can't believe they had the brass balls to take AF1 into Iraq. I wonder if 3 months on, we'll hear about some questionable "security measures" taken to secure the general area. Maybe I'm too much of a cynic though.

But probably not.

To quoth the Only President We've Got, from his intended 2000 concession speech, "Uhhhh...like, this sucks worse than anything has ever sucked before. Huh huh huh huh." (I keep wondering: if anyone does a movie about the Bush Administration after Shrub and the rest of his verminous crew leave, will it be called "Dick and Dubya Do America"?)

It doesn't take "brass balls" to secretly go into Iraq. Let's see him actually *ANNOUNCE* that he's going and when/where he's going before he goes. THAT would take "brass balls", which he ain't got.

Good point. I was just surprised they used Air Force One... they usually use a military plane to sneak the officials in and out.

To quote a Dalek I know...

AF1's coming to Sydney so he can piss people offmake an impression, so I guess it was a matter of stopping by Iraq with the airplane you have.
