Described here,
1. How long ago were you in Melbourne and for what duration?
The last time was June, for 2 weeks. It was wonderful. I've never lived there (although I hope to one day), but I've visited many, many times.
2. How much does it take for someone to really push you over the edge and snap?
One hell of a lot. I'm a slow simmer sort of person - I can take a huge quantity of pushing, but when I go, I go.
3. Is there anything you're OCD about?
Have you eaten? Are you sure? Here - have bowl of soup. The cake's n... er... what was the question?
4. What's the best gig you've ever been to and why?
Ohhh, difficult choice. Probably Roxy Music a couple of years ago with
waitingman and
lederhosen. Otherwise, Moving Pictures, Armidale 1982. In both cases, brilliant playing, a total connection with the audience, and the definite feeling that whatever I paid, it was worth it. Oh, and Warren Zevon, the Bridge Hotel, about 1994 or 1995.
5. What would be your ideal holiday destination (anywhere in the universe)?
Iceland. I've always wanted to go, see the volcanoes, stand on two techtonic plates and be forced to do the splits at a rate of 4cm a year.

*snuggle* So, it's been a while since I last had a question-set from you...
And finally I think of them:
Date: 2007-09-11 03:36 pm (UTC)1) Prog rock. Folk. Opera. Hymns. Which style (including but not limited to the aforementioned) do you think truly stretches your range and abilities?
2) Why 5 tails?
3) At which point did you know that the malaise was more than just feeling tired and not getting over a bug?
4) As a vet nurse, which animal had absolutely no redeeming features whatsoever?
5) What's the oddest compliment that was ever paid to you?

(remember the song that made Bjork famous?)
but much more ambient.
