I recall our problem is that your messages would arrive weirdly late.

Either way, I have a new phone. You're more likely to reach me on it as I don't turn it off as much as the old one, and it's easier to send and receive messages. You may perhaps have the number, as it's the same one.

We enjoy getting the occasional message from you. As long as it isn't more than like 20-30 a month I don't see it as being a problem at all.
