My laptop's got some loose keys, and while I have been able to use it, it's been driving me bonkers. So last week I took it to Geek Central to get fixed (because all the other places I rang or emailed either didn't get back to me or didn't do repairs).

They first told me 3-5 days. Ok... Then they rang me later that afternoon to say it could be up to 7 days as they were waiting for the replacement. Hmmmm.

So I rang them today.

They're still waiting on the part.

I could have used the computer all last week. And they never told me.

If they don't have the part today, I'm still going over to get my machine back, and I'll take it back in when the part arrives.

Edit - they confirmed they hadn't heard back from the parts place yet, so I picked up the machine but pointed out that the 5-7 days was 5-7 working days. I pointed out that even so, it was 5 working days since I'd dropped the machine in, and they really ought to have let me know. Not. Happy. Jan.

Beasts.

In other news, my mouthpiece has also not turned up from repairs either. I would really really like a decent night's sleep, guys!

My computer hasn't worked right in a month. And I won't get one that does work until Getmas. So, my sympathies.

Sounds like it's time to dial up Art Black and send him after the slackers. Maybe you could trick them into wearing bunny suits, to make it easier.
