Please leave comments, saying something very nice about somebody. Praise for them, sharing your joy in a joy of theirs, gratitude for something kind and lovely they've done for you, expressing compassion for a bad time they're having, squeeing about something impressive they've achieved, or even just bouncing about an LJ icon they have that you really like. Anything like that. Tell those of us reading why they're wonderful, and/or leave them a message in case they read it.

I would especially like to hear these things about people I know, so please could each comment contain at least one nice thing about somebody on my LJ friends' list, (or someone we both know who is not on LJ). However, you can talk about more than one person in each comment, so you could also tell us all about people I don't know, too.

You can comment as many times as you like. You are actively encouraged to steal this idea and post something similar on your own LJ or DW (or in a community) as well.

Just to be clear - don't write about me. Write about someone that you know that's also on my friends' list, or who is someone we both know.

In other news, I finish at the call centre tomorrow. Resigning of my own accord - it just wasn't the job for me, and there are things happening in the next few months.

I think the only person on both our lists is barberio, whom I don't know well. Happily I can write about him, because I really admire his excellent mixture of posts on principled politics and interesting cooking. Not enough people manage such a fine combination!

Unfortunately, we've been booked to go to New Zealand and only jsut finalised the travel arrangements. WE're away from the 4th to the 19th, then back in Sydney the weekend after. If only you'd let me know before...

Goddam. I'm sorry gorgeous, its entirely my fault. I've just reviewed my emails and I could have sworn I told Geoffrey the dates, but clearly I did not. Mind you, given a choice between going to NZ and having dinner with me, I know which I'd pick. Have a lovely time. *huggles*
