You make me feel fortunate that we didn't have it anywhere NEAR that bad out our way. We had Christmas Dinner in the evening this year, so that Eldest Nephew could attend (he was working during lunchtime). We had it at Eldest Brother's place in Ringwood North, and while we had successive thunderstorms and downpours and a bit of hail, there wasn't anything flooded out between Ringwood and Donvale when it was time to go home.
Though the gutters in my house appear to have overflowed and leaked into the lounge, which sometimes happens with big storms. Oh well. It will dry out.
