In
exchange_bingo, they want people to be fair.
May. 9th, 2012 11:35 amBecause the current Bingo is for prompts on the
sshg_exchange, and as
mundungus42 pointed out:
What, do you think I'd ask for MLC/MPREG/Regency/Andrew Lloyd Webber songfic with adowable babies just to win at Bingo? I am fully cognizant of the dangers of receiving such a thing and having to squee over it!
And so you know what happened next...
*sigh*
You asked for it.
Scene - As the violins start up, the lights the lights come up slightly to reveal that it's the Hogwarts Hospital Wing, with only one bed occupied. Sitting beside the bed is Hermione Granger, holding the hand of the person under the sheets.
She's dressed in the high-waisted gown made popular by "Pride and Prejudice".
The music rises into the introduction of I don't know how to love him from Jesus Christ Superstar.
Hermione:I don't know how to tell him.
How to show that I love him.
My mind's changed, it's really changed,
In these past few days when we learned the truth,
That he was not a spy...
Now I see that he cared for us,
Kept us safe and he worked for us,
He's a man, he's just a man,
But a wizard too, and we never knew
That Snape was on our side,
He almost died.
Violins change to the intro to Memory; from Cats. The lights go down on Hermione, and a spotlight shines on Snape in the bed, who sits up slowly as he sings:
Snape:Hogwarts,
See the sun on the towers,
And the damp in the dungeons,
And the squid in the lake,
Like the ghosts here,
I yearn to let my life slip away,
And I would but... my mistake.
Midnight,
We were down in my classroom,
It was one night of madness,
Could I sin any more?
I am bound here,
My body will not just slip away,
Till I bring forth
What I bore.
Once more the violins change - to the intro to The Music of the Night from The Phantom of the Opera.
Snape:
Slowly, silent, night reveals its wonders,
No point hiding, all will hear the thunder,
Rising from this sick bed, the truth will surely be said...
Snape leans forward and takes Hermione's hand, as the lights slowly come up to encompass both of them.
Sweet Hermione, you and I are fated,
From that moment when our two bodies mated,
She walks around from the far side of the bed and takes his hands
Surely you discerned it, and now you will have learned it,
That you have joined with me and are my wife.
He throws back the bedclothes and stands, the prominent bulge in his belly outlined by his Regency tailcoat and highlighted as she reels back in horror/wonder
We've made a new and wondrous kind of life
And then a dramatic chord plays and ... no, sorry, I can't write any more!
