Our maths tutor is... careless. Sloppy. He knows what he should be writing. But he writes the wrong things. He ignores the i in 4-8i and tells us the answer is -4. He integrates sin(nx) and gets -cos(nx), completely forgetting the 1/n, which leaves the whole answer too large. And he puts the wrong formula for a(n) in Fourier series.

So I spend a lot of time doing the sweet-voiced "er, excuse me sir, what happened to the i?"

And I ended up leaving today because I couldn't cope with it any more. If I don't speak up he gets the wrong answer which leaves my classmates in trouble and learning the wrong thing. If I do speak up he has to go back and correct and it takes forever to do the lesson.

And I get so MAD!

I've already spoken to the lecturer about him. I think one more quiet word perhaps...

My class managed to get our tutor changed by mass complaining. Can you get your classmates to back you up?

Bitch. Complain. Rant. My college calculus teacher came in the first day, launched into the subject with chalk flying for 50 minutes... and at the end discovered he made a mistake in the first ten minutes. It took a week for him to get that straightened out.

And then the did it _again_ the next week. And the week after *that*.

I am permanently screwed with it comes to calculus.
