Asking for a very good reason.

Dear all,
You get swamped by 1001 different causes that beg for your money all the time. Even walking down the street, it's either the guy in the Koala suit or that homeless kid or just someone with a clipboard in their hand asking for just a minute of your time (and a chunk out of your wallet).
But if you've been wondering where your money might do some good, please read this.
Kasese Humanist Primary School in Uganda is trying to give the local children the education they need to become teachers, medical workers, or even just better farmers and shop keepers. But more importantly, they're trying to persuade children, and especially girls, to stay in school until they've received that basic education up to Year 6 standards.
And they're not affiliated with any church - the children are educated on Humanist principles - with the emphasis on logical thought, rationalism, science and evidence.
The school has just bought land, and is trying to build new classrooms and improve the land so that the school itself can provide meals to the children. They have chickens.
It doesn't sound like much, but that end of Uganda is right next to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which has suffered a civil war for the last 15 years. Spillover from that country hits the Kasese Region all the time, so things are not that good there.
So if you can spare some money - even $10 or $20 - please consider donating it to the Kasese Humanist Primary School.
