So I get home from two weeks at my parents' place (helping the start of clearing out 43 years of stuff), and there are, of course, many beautiful Christmas cards waiting for me.

And a large envelope from teddyradiator.

Containing a card and a book.

A very special book.



It's hand-bound in tooled leather that is so smooth to the touch, and the pattern of roses suits the shape perfectly.

Then I opened it.
