1. What kind of soap is in your bathtub right now.
Don't use the bathtub much, but in the shower is the Coal Tar for lederhosen and the Cashmere Bouquet for me.

2. Do you have any watermelon in your refrigerator?
not currently. Once summer comes, we probably will.

3. Is there anything moldy in your refrigerator?
"Anything mouldy in there?"
"Nope."
"You sure?"
"Hang on - let me check." *mumbling* "Nah. Nothing in here but us tomatoes."
"Cool." *Shuts door*

4. Are there any dirty dishes in your sink?
Yup. Once I get around to emptying the dishwasher, they'll go in.

5. What would you change about your living room?
Remove the ugly shell-style light fittings on the north wall, put the model cases there, and the telly in the middle, move the couch to the south side, thus opening up the whole space.

6. Are the dishes in your dishwasher clean or dirty?
Currently clean. I must empty it.

7. Do you have a can of mushrooms in your pantry?
Nope.

8. White or wheat bread?
Rye, actually. Or oat rolls. Home-made, that is. If bought, sometimes white, sometimes wholemeal, sometimes brown. I think what you call "wheat bread" is what I'd call "Brown". I like multigrain, but not as much as the other types.

9. What is on top of your refrigerator?
The trays and the whiteboard eraser.

10. What colour is your sofa?
Smoky mid blue.

11. What colour or design is on your shower curtain?
It's a sliding door, with wire crossed through the glass.

12. How many plants are in your home?
The two very sad looking cacti on the windowsill. They were doing well until about three months ago.

13. How many candles are in your home?
In the drawer there's a 50 pack of tealights, mainly for parties. There's a 10-pack of birthday cake candles, and a couple of dinner candles for emergencies. Upstairs there's a scented candle in the bathroom, used on special occasions. And in the science kits, about another dozen tea lights.

14. Is your bed made right now?
Nope :-)

Standard

16. Comet or Soft Scrub?
Are they soaps? Plate cleaners? Bathroom stuff? For the bathroom, I try to use something that will make the dog's breakfast of the grouting into something half-reasonable. Otherwise, whatever's in that tub of cleaners left over from Matraville and Canberra. What's that? THey're over 6 years old? And???

18. What colour is the flashlight that you use the most?
Red

19. What kinds of things are in your junk drawer?
People have just one drawer?

20. Do you drink out of glass or plastic most of the time at home.
Glass

21. Do you have iced tea made in a pitcher right now?
No, but next summer I might make it a few times.

22. If you have a garage, is it cluttered?
Sorry - can't actually get in there far enough to work it out. If I could just move these boxes...

23. Curtains or blinds?
I prefer curtains. We currently have a really ugly mixture.

24. How many pillows do you sleep with?
One European, set up so I'm on the last 4 inches. (This is the setup that works best for Mr Gaspo, my CPAP)

25. Do you sleep with any lights on at night?
Only if I can't be arsed getting up to turn the hall light off.

26. How many ceiling fans are in your home?
3 - one in each of the top bedrooms

27. How often do you vacuum?
Probably once a month. We need a better vacuum, but for every 5 minutes of vacuuming, it's 25 minutes of brush-cleaning. Yeah, we're slobs.

28. Standard toothbrush or electric?
Old-school standard.

29. What colour is your toothbrush?
Purple!

30. Do you have a welcome mat on your front porch step?
Yes.

31. What is in your oven right now?
THe oven trays and the griller tray, as usual.

32. Is your microwave clean or dirty?
In need of a clean out.

33. Is there anything under your bed?
The flat box with my brother's old train set. My slippers. Ballycumber. Probably my hanky from last night.

34. Chore you hate doing the most?
Vacuum. But give me a good one and I'm fine.

35. What retro items are in your home?
Does the side table count as retro? It's quite old. As in about 250 years. (From my mother's family) Otherwise the 1940s eggbeater.

Yes

37. If you have a yard, who mows it?
Only the nature strip at the front needs mowing. The lovely guy next door often does it.

38. Is there anything on your kitchen floor right now?
The shopping bags from this afternoon, with the tins. I need to move them into the pantry, but there's not any room in there at the moment.

4.

40. Do you have any hidden emergency money around your home?

41. What colour are your walls?
Cream, and very badly painted by the previous owners.

42. Which rooms in your house have wallpaper?
None.

43. Do you have a peephole in your front door?
No. Something I ought to think of.

44. Do you keep any kind of protection weapons in your home?
No. Not that sort of country. Admittedly, there is a small chance that the corner shop may get hit or something (it's owned by a Prominent Melbourne Identity) but if that were the case, the last thing I'd want to do is be anywhere near it, let alone getting involved.

45. What does your home smell like right now?
Pork casserole I made for dinner.

46. Fave candle scent?
Gardenia

47. What kind of pickles (if any) are in your refrigerator right now?
Do you mean like gherkins and pickled onions? (None) Or do you mean like chutney and sauces? (6 bottles of the batch of chutney from last year)

48. Who are in the pictures you display?
The Muses, some Renoir ballerinas, there's some photos of our nephews upstairs in Geoffrey's study. Oh - and that very naughty etching in the bedroom. When we say "come up and see our etchings", we're not kidding...

49. What colour is your favourite bible?
Probably the brown one I got back in 1979. Fake leather cover. Small, easy to carry. But it's not like we're religious. We have the Koran and the writings of Aleister Crowley, not to mention far too many other books.

50. Do you have plenty of cabinet space in your kitchen?
If you mean "in total", probably half-reasonable. (I miss our walk-in pantry). If you mean "Available?", see question 38.

51. Ever been on your roof?
Not likely. 2 stories up!

Yes. With a turntable!

2 but one is useless.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA no.

Modern Disaster.

Bit of both. Solid is comforting, prints are cute.

Two.

59. In case of fire, what are the items you would grab if you only could make one quick trip?
The blue folder of Everything Important. Everything else is on Dropbox.

60. Do you know how to work your electrical box?
Yes.

61. What temperature in your home is most comfortable to you?
In winter, about 19C (66F) and I wear a jumper (Sweater to the rest of you). In summer, try to keep around 28C (82F). OF course, upstairs keeps warmer.
