Tonight, we went to the local church's Girls' Brigade Trivia Night. Questions ranged from the easy (which film has the tag line "In space no-one can hear you scream"?) to the desperately hard (Who talked of the prophesy of Enoch?). We got a couple wrong that we ougth to have gotten, but thanks to the team, we won.
The team was:
The church warrior lirrle old lady down the back (Val)
Tony the 50s and 60s TV expert with all the letter call-words.
Diane the world traveller
Geoffrey, science wonder
Xanthe of the Modern Music
Ann of the fast writing
Gillian of the obscure
and he who really won it for us:
Adam who knew all the Australian Prime Ministers in order.
Cake and coffee during the evening, and a box of chocolates upon winning. And that's why we're up so late.
