Firstly, apologies to those interviews I owe.

Now, darkrosetiger and chaos_rose are both obviously Snape fans - why both roses, I wonder? Anyway, thanks to chaos_rose I have discovered the pain that is bad_smutfic. It hurts and stings. I recommend it to any fanfic writer - the genre is not important. (I trust my friends to tell me if mine are that bad).

And because they have now opened in Penrith, and because I was foolish enough to queue for 1 WHOLE HOUR to get a sample pack, I have included this quiz.

Oh, nothing new, they're just another invading American company that's crowding out another nameless foreign economy (that is, the Canadian Pastry Market).
I'd normally put up with that the same way I put up with McDonald's and KFC (as long as they make a half-decent product, they'd be standard) but everyone is suddenly treating them like an envoy from heaven. You get schools putting together contests with boxes of Krispy Kreme doughnuts as a prize, and the high demand is the perfect excuse to charge unreasonable prices for their product in comparison to the rest of the market.
To their credit, they seem to make the doughnuts on the premises as opposed to Dunkin or Robin's or Coffee Time's collective habit of selling old, crappy culinary delights, but I'm still at war with them.
