Sometimes you wonder what they're using for reference.

My son has some videos by Focus on the Family , called McGee and Me, which are morally-bent kids' short stories. They're not too bad as Christian videos go - reasonable acting and storyline, and the moral isn't beaten in too hard.

So why in the sweet Lord's name is IMDB suggesting as Recommendations: If you like this title, we also recommend...

Ken Park (2002), a movie currently banned in Australia for its underage sexual content.

So should I let the IMDB people know?

I think, perhaps, they were (or were trying to) recommend two other 'portions' of the film (as far as I can tell), Bully and Kids. These seem to confront issues relating to 'every teens' in California, focusing mainly upon parent-child relationships. However, from what I found on a couple of searches, all of these kids have immense sexual issues ongoing throughout the film which is apparently what has gotten it banned in both Australia and London.

They have gotten some wires crossed here somewhere and have either overlooked or have never even viewed the content of the film.

I was under the impression that IMDB information wasn't terribly reliable because they depends on what viewers tell them. This sounds like someone's idea of a joke to me. Harmless enough really, since if the film's banned it's highly unlikely that parents will even get hold of it in the first place let alone give it to their kids to watch.

It is viewer-dependent, but IIRC they have some anti-stacking algorithms in place; it shouldn't be easy for a lone prankster to do this.

Good to see that the film is still managing to make the rounds. I heard a very interesting interview with Margaret Pomerantz (Movie Show) on the subject, she was actually jailed for hosting a showing of the movie. It sounds like another case of the Australian censors overreacting.
