Sometimes I wonder why I do this...

1 15 year old.
6 eager shouting boys trying to get the DM's attention about why their character really did use that larger weapon and the dodge bonus even though they'd forgotten to say so earlier.
My poor ears.
I run a D&D campaign, and today was the last battle. After backstabbing, mis-spelling, wrong-hitting and generally all the things first-time characters do, they actually got their act together and sort-of acted like a team. They killed 4 orcs and 2 bugbears, and then brought a young black dragon to its knees.
And then, afterwards, the players gave me boxes of chocolate and lovely cards, and told me how very much they had enjoyed our sessions.
The 15 year old is thinking of running a game himself. I hope he does - it's a great learning experience. The 12 year olds are all off to different high schools next year, but may still get involved with local groups.
And I will probably end up running a game at Adam's next school.

I wonder what challenge rating they are, and how many experience points I ought to get?
