Ohh the woman's a TEASE!

Watching a special on J.K. Rowling on the cable at work tonight, and she showed a yellow document folder. Slim. Unassuming.

It contains the last chapter of book 7 of the Harry Potter series.

She explained that she wasn't going to show the inside of the manuscript, that it is a "wrap-up" sort of chapter, explaining what happened to those who lived "because there are going to be more deaths" and that it doesn't live at her house for obvious reasons.

And I coud feel, along with myself, the eyes of thousands upon thousands of eager, desperate fans trying to invoke telekenisis or X-ray vision or the ability to reach through the screen and grab...

*sigh* Seeing the thrid movie on Friday with da_norvegicus and his father and a friend - I shall have to cope somehow.

Alas, no, it is no guarantee of the sixth book - she's only written the final chapter of the last book and she wrote that about 5 years ago to inspire herself to finish the whole lot.

Remember that book 5 only came out last year and there's been two years between them.

(grin) I remember many discussions, while waiting on this or that cliffhanger, about going off and mounting a commando-style raid on J. Michael Strazyinski's home to liberate the plot line for Babylon 5... ;-)

I am hoping to see the film tonight... (Thur) however tickets are selling out... and all my wonderful teachers have dumped homework on me... of all the nights it had to be this one.... so i may have to post pone... dammit...

And i am dying for reading material.... i'm in the middle of a book now... but i'm almost loosing interest in it... recommend anything????
