a) an email from a client saying what a wonderful job you did.
b) a quality award from your boss that translates into nice things like coffee grinders or harbour cruises
c) a call rating from the meanest toughest manager that's an "exceeds expectations" and thus double plus good.
So I'm gloating.

This doesn't surprise or worry me - this avatar of Death was introduce to me at a time when a close friend was dying, so to imagine Anne being met by a dark-haired woman in gorgeous clothes really helped me deal with things. There's something very stable and reliable about this particular version of the Reaper.
