Don't seriously hurt yourself--I have to keep my promise to dance with you when the time comes, remember. I never thought I'd be the one holding myself to it, but... :)
Darling if you were old, i wouldn't be talking to you and thinking your an absolute legend!!!!! So no, your not old!!! *Hugs* But according to Usagi, who is a shit stirrer :P in the nicest way possible... i'm an old lady... lol
On the other hand, if you did manage to damage something in there, a ligament or a muscle or somesuch, 3 weeks' healing time or thereabouts is to be expected. I know that this hasn't been bothering you constantly (or else you were putting on a bloody good show when we were walking around the Prom and Sydney!), so I don't think it's something to be too worried about - we won't put you in traction just yet.
Take care, though, and do see your doctor if pain persists.
When was the last time you went seriously dancing? Like drinking, your body's tolerance for the acts decreases over time. If it's getting worse, or doesn't go away after a week or so more (of being kind to the damaged area) then go see the doctor (as shadow_5tails has already mentioned). Rub Voltaren or other anti-inflammatories (sp?) into the affected area - if nothing else it'll help you ease the strain on the unaffected muscles around the problem.
