Me and my pictures
Jul. 30th, 2004 03:02 amThe current rather lovely meme is to explain who and what your LJ userpics are. I do need to warn you, I have paid up for the extra picture space, .
This is my beautiful Cocker Spaniel, also called Cuton. My first icon, it happened to be a convenient picture to show off our common hair colour.
Used for posts that are: Calm, domestic.
Me and my very utterly beloved
lederhosen on our wedding day. Love him so very much.
Used for posts that are: when I feel loved or loving.
On our honeymoon, we saw the amazing
reichmarshall, also known as Lee Presson from Lee Presson and the Nails, live north of San Francisco. I just wish I had a pic of him "flying" while playing the xylophone.
Used for posts that are: about travel or music tales.
My South Park self.
Used for posts that are: irreverent, or just me.
George Sanders, he of the smooth voice and caddish characters.
Used for posts that are:
classic_film posts, or something requiring sophistication.
My Edwardian lady.
Used for posts that are: requiring extra elegance, manners, or in need of some culture.
Cogs - from a Worth 1000 entry.
Used for posts that are: geeky, engineering-based or otherwise technical.
My Silver Dragon, for which I won a painting prize.
Used for posts that are: about Dungeons and Dragons, Fanfic, fantasy stuff or imagination.
My frisky fox, which my sweet
shadow_5tails sent me.
Used for posts that are: frisky, bouncy, full of energy.
This fox, also from
shadow_5tails, is either sneaky, cautious or hiding - and my mood can be any of those. Check the music being played or the emotion shown for more details.
Used for posts that are: usually personal, often emotional.
His Lordship, the boy in my life,
da_norvegicus.
Used for posts that are: when he's made me a proud mum.
EXCUUUUSE ME! Those are PERSONAL MASSAGE DEVICES, designed to get the knots out of your shoulders or to massage the kinks out of your tired muscles. You just put that dirty mind of yours away. And as for the Hello Kitty one - eeeewwww. That's not right. Icon made from the pics someone talked about in
vintage_sex, but you can see similar items at the Good Vibrations Vintage Vibrator Museum site.
Used for posts that are: naughty. (Tends not to be used on open posts or those likely to be seen at work.)
Amber, created for
harliquinn. I've never used it myself.
Somebody in my household is a Lego fan, so of course I had to have a Lego icon.
Used for posts that are: general ones. (Was the default for a while).
Venetta from Making Fiends. Watch it. Learn as Charlotte drives you NUTS for being TOO NICE.
Used for posts that are: bitter, twisted, snarky, and generally negative.
Carl from Van Helsing, that all-Australian movie. David Wenham went to my uni. It's a dubious icon created by the lovely
cleolinda, writer of the dreaded
m15m"Movies in 15 minutes", and author of the lovely phrase Cousin. He's my cousin. Cousin. Totally my cousin. In conclusion: Cousin.
Used for posts that are: dubious.
From the Lemony Snicket Movie site - I am rather looking forward to that movie.
Used for posts that are: odd. Strange. Suspicious. Or just weird.

were created for
madcowmoo, and I have never gotten around to deleting them. Hey, with room for 50 icons, who needs to?
and
were created while I was down one time and entered some suitably gothy phrase or description into Google Images. Of course I can't remember what it was now!
Used for posts that are: very occasional ones about roleplaying and some connected areas.

Me in a call centre in Australia!
Used for posts that are: about work or related stuff. I've not used it yet.
I think there might have been one or two others, but alas, they're long gone in the depths of the 'puter.
