reynardo | Late night sludgings

Last night I was finishing work at midnight, and chatting with one of our Lead Techs who is also a nice person and a friend. Another friend of mine and I tend to meet for late-night coffee, so I asked Paul if he'd like to come with us. From 1am to 3am the three of us sat and nibbled comfort food and drank assorted beverages and enjoyed the like-minded company and I thought to myself later "This is good. Life is good. I live in one of the best countries in the world, I have excellent friends, loving loved ones, and sometimes the simple pleasures are all you need."

I could symp on a lot more, but some of it all is even too big to come out on (virtual) paper. So I shall quietly sit, warmed and loved, and be thankful.
