Now I know this won't apply to all of you, and I know we screwed up as well, but if you need somewhere to stay while you're waiting for your papers to come through, we can find the space.

House Rules:

1) Bring your own maple syrup. Plus extra for us - Grade A dark, please.

2) No more than 1 hour per week depressed bitching about politics. We're all hurting here, but it won't heal if you keep picking at it.

3) If I'm starting work after 3pm I don't do lifts in the mornings. The bus is at the door - deal with it.

4) Anyone going for the easy option had best check with me before proposing to one of our friends - we don't want any silly mistakes.

5) There will be tolerance and diversification in this house. While I appreciate not everyone will hold the same beliefs, there is no call to tease someone else just because they read baaaaabyanimals.

We'll deal with the rest when you get here. Give us a couple of days warning and we'll pick you up from the airport. And you can expect to be mothered while you're here.
