Quiet on the home front

because I'm slacking away in Bateman's Bay for a week. Oh teh angst. Oh the silly games (Great Brain Robbery) and bad movies (Teen Wolf Too) and excellent food and glorious company and long heart-healing beach-walks and long dog-soaking rock-climbs and dolphins and sunsets and all.

So if you've been trying to reach me at all, the mobile's available for emergencies. Otherwise, I don't exist. Really. Just ask lederhosen and da_norvegicus and silverblue and brandtotter and shadow_5tails and asagwe.

Alas, though, my body has decided that now is the time to have a dose of the flu. Nice timing :-P (And so have several of the other bodies here).

And no, I'm not an internet junkie. This is actually me trying to escape from the 43C outside by finding a nice cool airconditioned place. Really. I could give this up any time. Honest.

Does Teen Wolf Too sport Michael J. Fox, as did the original?

Somehow, I can't watch a typcal Fox film like Back to the Future without feeling sorry for the guy. While you might somehow be able to argue that some people in the world deserve Parkinson's Disease, though I never would, I'd never put Mike in that category.

It can only mean I'm too glum, and need to pop dangerous quantities of happy pills in order to be a better consumer.

JesusAndrew is almost right... JASON Bateman bears that particular burden... in addition to being the Eric Roberts of the Bateman family (Justine is the talented one...). By the way - I don't believe it was 43 degrees at Batemans Bay today... not judging by the southerly winds tonight!! You're just trying to make those in Melbourne or further jealous... Not that it's hard to do...

It was a lovely sunny day in Sydney, by the way. Shame I was in the office for most of it... Shaddup!!
