Listen to your inner intellectually elite-geek and go play with a mini-Mac. Bt be warned, I firmly believe that it's a gateway drug. Don't be a girly-man, go for the gusto and get a REAL Mac. G5, dual-processors, at *least* 1gHz of RAM.
You can save money by getting a viewscreen made by somebody else. And yes, you can use 2-and 3-button mouses with Macs. And touchpads, and rollerballs...
I use a laptop rather than a PC. It's easier and portable which rocks for me, I dont game, so I dont need a Box. The new apple laptops though......look so tempting. 17inch monitor, G4 and 512 DDR RAM, 100GB HAD, it wouldnt be hard to swap a gig chip of RAM in.... so tempting so expensive.
