On Friday I arrived home to find 6 beautiful postcards of aspects of the Yosemite, from sequoias to dogwood, and a wonderful pair of before-and-after shots of the Hetch Hetchy river valley (originally intended for the mailbox of the Governor, but diverted to me).

So.

ambitious_wench, there can only be one conclusion to this. From the quarter and the quarter bear to this means nothing less than an outright declaration of war.

Guard your mailbox - my salvo is coming.

By the way, mother said to tell you that the quarter bear looks all bear to her.

Oh, BTW: Silly Rey, googling for pictures when I have some on my Flickr site that make the ones you posted look positively anaemic (sp?). The dogwood image is of an Eastern Dogwood--note the four petals, not six of the Western Sierra Dogwood.

Oh, and no sending duplicates any more. I have two cards of frilled lizards in pointilistic rendition, love.

Pretty soon, I'm going to be printing my own Postcards.

Tell your mother that Half Dome really isn't half, either, but about three-quarters its original size.

BOther - I lost track of to whom I had sent which cards - that means I meant to send one of those lizards to Buzzy, and you were due a crocodile.

Alas, apart from what's winging its way to you now, I don't have a lot of access to anything but generic Aus at the moment. Time for me to hit some serious locations, like the Art Gallery.
