Take a look at my icons Comment with the following:

1. One that makes you automatically think of me.
2. One that you think I should TOTALLY use more often.
3. One that you don't get/needs more explanation/you have no idea why the hell I have it (or what the fuck it is)
4. When you comment, use your favourite icon and tell me why you love it!

I was googling for something to do with Angst and ran across that instead. It's a signal for someone that the post is locked between themselves and me, as they have a lot of lj-friends and while I quite understand skimming most posts, anything marked with that was important.

You have so many icons!

1. and 2. My favourite, also the one that a) makes me automatically think of you (which is probably why it's my favourite one for you) and b) you should definitely use more often!! would have to be 'Bad Girl'. That oh, so sweet little girl with the twinkle in her eye, disingenuously blaming her doll (and fooling no one, and doesn't she know it?) reminds me of you. Innocent, mischievous, sweetly old fashioned. Luckily for me, you already use it a lot.

2. and 3. One that I haven't seen is Playwitch. 'Tis a bit naughty though. There's lots that you have that I haven't seen before, or don't get, but I wonder why so many with lightening??

4. I like all my icons for various things but my favourite would probably be this Man Ray photo. It all started about twenty years ago when I was chatting with a friend about sexual fantasies. She mentioned something about glad wrap and soon after I found this photo on a card, which I sent to her. I like the way the body is naked and yet not naked, clothed in a non-clothing, demure yet sexy. If I use it in a reply, you know I like you.

Bad Girl is thanks to [livejournal.com profile] jazzmasterson or [livejournal.com profile] harliquinn - can't remember which one, but you're right, she should come out more often.

The lightning ones were some I created for [livejournal.com profile] lordstorm ages ago, and he was going to have a look at them and choose a couple. I have stacks of icon space so I left them there.

And your icons are all so elegant!

Hmm, I guess you're right there....perhaps I need a nekkid Alan Rickman or too to bring down the level.

So, which of my icons do you like best, and why? Which one makes you think of me the most??

1) The "clingwrap" one is very you - the elegance.

2) Noir - dark and mysterious and you should use it much more often.

3) "Countess" intrigues mel I find it hard to think of posts where you might use it. although it may well be on communities I do not frequent.

1. Your wedding day icon becuase you're such a loving person.

2. Not me. Dolly did it. I totally love that one.

3. I don't get the skull icon with "turning Japanese" as your key words.

4. This is my Squee cat. He pretty much always has this look on his face.

There's a part in the song "Turning Japanese" by the Vapors that goes:
I've got your picture, I've got your picture
I'd like a million of you all round my cell
I want a doctor to take your picture
So I can look at you from inside as well

I could have called it just "Skull", but that would be like calling my toy bat (hanging upside-down from the car mirror) "Bat", instead of "Spook" (which is cuter).

Definitely PlayWitch. *drool* This should be used more often.

I have no idea what your icon of vibrators is for. Totally.

1. The 'It's for your own good' one. I'm still in search of a long haired person to try braids on.
2. The Girl Guides one. I actually have a copy of that somewhere, and it's nice to be reminded of it. Very useful when you need to build a suite of kitchen furniture equipped with only broom handles, bamboo canes and string.
3. Who is George Sanders?
4. I made it all by myself, it's pretty and colourful, and I love the quote I used for it.

George Sanders was an actor with one of those English accents that I would love to listen to all day - think Alan Rickman or Jason Isaacs. George played villains/nere-do-wells in many movies (he was the slimy cousin in "Rebecca" and the Children's Book Author in "The Ghost and Mrs Muir".) One of his last roles, as alcoholism took him, was the voice of Shere Khan the Tiger in the Disney "Jungle Book" animated movie. Also, if you've seen the original "Village of the Damned", he was the professor.
