Yes, we have moron customers. Yes, sometimes you work with monkeys who haven't been trained out of certain bad habits. But the pay isn't bad, and they do have a reasonable work ethic (Which seems to be "Working in a call centre sucks, so let's do fun things and encourage individuality to try and make it a little more bearable").

And yes, you'd get to work with me. Perhaps.

Maybe DSL was different to cable, but working there was my own personal hell. And I've worked at OzEmail. :P

I guess because dsl was so new there was no comradeship or decent support systems in place. Or maybe because management didnt give a rats arse about technical skillz and just wanted bubbly, vapid customer service people. Who can say? I'm betting cable was/is different though. Still, there aint no way in all nine levels of hell I will ever work in a role like that again. :)
