A fairly quiet weekend...

Wafflers on Friday night, me with Cue Cards to hold up instead of trying to talk (my voicew had died completely on Friday morning). Excellent food, good company, and some fun speeches, including Mr "Watch me pull a well-structured, erudite and entertaining speech from nowhere in 24 hours" waitingman.

Dinner and silly card games, followed by very silly movies, with good company Saturday night, and I didn't have to talk too much either. Also used Cue Cards - "Pick on lederhosen!" "Pick on da_norvegicus" "Don't pick on me!". Also set up what should be an eye-opener for many workmates on Monday.

Lunch with Adam's other grandparents at lunchtime, followed by quality husband time, light dinner and pancakes.

And an early night for me tonight.

Well, I'm glad you found a way to Waffle without doing further harm to your voice and its mechanisms, but what, exactly, occasioned its dying completely that morning? *pokes you sternly in the ribs*

Did you hear that Asagwe's found a networkable computer version of Settlers? I haven't played with it yet, but if we can manage it, I think I might just have to drag you into a game...
