I'd known this one for years - apparently American college and school sports teams will look for the longer ring finger to indicate higher levels of in-utero testosterone, thus leading to more agressive playing.

And ability in endurance sports, which amused me. I am a struggling beginner in endurance sports (long distance running) and my ring fingers are longer than my index fingers on both hands.

Bah, my ring fingers are longer than my index fingers by nearly a full fingernail on both hands, and I am as unathletic as you can be while still able to climb a flight of stairs.

I will cop to music, strength, and mathematical ability though. Fertility is - so far - untested. No comment on aggression or competitive tendencies. Shut up or I'll have to come over there and smack somebody down, though. Are you lookin' at me funny? Hunh? ;-)

Of course, the research must be bogus, as it associates longer index fingers with intelligence, and clearly that's not universally true.
