No, [livejournal.com profile] notasquirrel, this is NOT a hint.

Disaster Zone: Volcano in New York sounds like a beauty. I love volcanoes, and have seen most of the documentaries around and a fair chunk of the movies. I sniggered through most of Volcano, adored Dante's Peak (despite its few small failings), and lost it completely during the atrocity that is Volcano: Fire under the Mountain.

So when I read the Plot details for this one, I knew it had to be something for a very silly movie night.
Illegal experimentation accidentally rips open a previously unknown hidden magma reserve directly under Manhattan!
.
Has anyone here actually seen it? And is it worthy of a better rating, or is it as bad as I predict?

Mmmmmm. Volcano pr0n

Lots and lots of footage of hot, spurting lava from glowing, fiery volcanos, with deep, impressive voiceovers taht contain very little actual information, so that you really can't honestly say "I'm watching it for educational purposes".
