1. What's the nicest thing that anyone’s ever done for you?

Difficult choice - there have been so many. Some highlights include:

Being whisked away for my 24th birthday to a beautiful cafe above a river in the bush

Being picked up at numerous airports across the States by various wonderful people on the two trips, and generally made a fuss of.

A friend, hearing me at home sick with the flu and unable to move from in front of the heater, coming over and making hot soup, and getting me to bed with medicines.

Expecting to have to go home and cook for the new boyfriend, and discovering that not only had he made dinner, but he'd run the bath and was trying to light the fire as well. (I ended up marrying this one)

2. What is the very first song that you remember hearing?

Three songs come to mind, and I really can't remember which was first:

Georgy Girl by the Seekers
Puppet on a String by Sandie Shaw
So I'm showing my age. So sue me

and..

When Jenny monkey has a swing it is a sight to see
She curls his tail around the branch and swings from tree to tree
Swinging up and swinging down, she is a lucky one
If we could all have tails like that I think it would be fun.

3. When’s the last time that you actually wanted to smack someone?

Last night, when [livejournal.com profile] waitingman wrote about doing things at work without adequate safety equipment. And yesterday when a friend was teasing me about World of Warcraft.

4. You’ve won the lottery! What will you do first?

Boringly, pay off the house. Then book the round-the-world tickets that include London, LA, Maine (for a two week period that I will insist includes camping in autumn in the woods), Maryland, New York, ... you get the idea. And Iceland, of course.

5. Do you like cats?

I adore cats. I think they're sweet and warm and cuddly. Alas, they also make me sneeze.

To be fair, yesterday's incident & injury was more about ignorance & idiocy, than unsafe OH&S.

You're welcome to come & smack the co-worker responsible.

1) Private schools or public?

2) Keyboards and strings I've heard - what else do you play?

3) Who was your first kiss?

4) Novelty songs are written to make a fast buck and drive us crazy. Name 3 you think should be banned forever more.

5) If you could go back 150 years and introduce a song that would change the face of modern music, which one would you choose?

All I'm going to say is, in Idaho, we serve something called an "ice cream potato".

It's much better than it sounds.

You're a sick, sick person.

Trust me (http://www.baybrokerage.com/MenCons/Ice_Cream_Potato.htm).

You're a sick, sick person.

I don't suffer from anything - I enjoy every minute of it...

Clearly you people have nothing better to do in the winter.

No...we strap waxed boards to our feet and find the tallest mountain around to slide down...then we take really noisy machines into back-country avalanche areas and act surprised when Things Happen™...

1) So does he iron his socks?

2) What was the hardest thing about leaving Oregon?

3) Damn Cat has this ... expression of extreme ... something. What do you think it actually is?

4) If you could work as anything you wanted, what would it be?

5) Is there much of a pagain community in Augusta?

Do you blame us after you had been in the air what...24...30 hours with another 3 or so hours of driving ahead of you if you weren't picked-up? We don't call it the Maine "Wilderness" for nothing!

Maine (for a two week period that I will insist includes camping in autumn in the woods)

(sigh) You'd have to win enough to bribe my supervisor and our team manager to let me take two weeks off in the fall, one of our busiest times of the year (though lately, there is no such thing as 'down time' here).

Hey, if she won the lottery she could probably subsidize you... *perkyperkyperk*

(note to self, win lottery.)

Heh - you're tagged.

1) Why did you get the Stealth Lemon in the first place?

2) What to you was the most important thing about making Eagle Scout?

3) You've stated before the various reasons why you haven't become a Catholic priest. Would you consider ordination in another denomination?

4) What is the hazmat symbol for Moxie, and which precautions should be taken before opening a can of the 1999 vintage?

5) What made you realise that the lass from Oregon was more than a fellow author to you?

For theHorde?

I deny everything, and the test character that I got to level 2 is actually on a friend's account. It's on the same server as Edareye, but she's not showing up (character name Bindibun).

It's a Night Elf Sorceror something or other. Can't remember the details...

Oh yeah:

1) What's the weirdest thing about driving a forklift?

2) What made you join devilbunnies anyway?

3) Apart from Buzzy and Bob, what's the thing about LA that you miss the most?

4) What precautions have you taken for tornado and blizzard seasons?

5) Name an item of clothing that seemed outrageous for you to buy at the time (but you bought it anyway). (eg. my very own 5 inch stillettos)
