Do you own slippers?
Yes, a very staid and conservative royal blue velvet pair, $5 at K-mart some years ago. Deep hidden in a box are my bunny slippers.

Dark blue silk, originally white and slightly stained (and $5 special because it was stained, so I bought it and dyed it)

Purple
Would you be a pirate?

Kendall Mint Cake and Maple-and-Walnut Fudge.

"Perfect Day" by Lou Reed.

Not entirely sure, but something that says "I had fun, I'd like you to remember me, but I don't want your lives bogged down in sadness just because I'm gone." I'll have to get back to you on that one.

Damn teeth aching again
Have been spending far too much money, of course, but I admit to giving in to selfish reasons when Ratboy said "So can I go back a day early by bus?" I'm glad he's old enough to take the coach by himself and feed himself tonight. And I'm glad for an extra day with my beloved, without Ratboy. I love my son dearly, but sometimes a pair of adults need some adult time.
