[livejournal.com profile] sandypawozbun lives in South Australia, on a farm. Kew farm

And when we visited a couple of weeks ago, she bought me a dinosaur egg. eggbox

This egg had interesting instructions: eggboxback

It looks like a normal chicken's egg, except for the hole on the top. the_egg

So I put the egg in a container and filled it with water till water level upper egg. readytohatch

And now I have a baby dinosaur! dot

Here Dunno if they ship out to you, but certainly worth a look. You can hatch Aliens if you like, lizards, alligators/croc's, lizards, and rubber duckies. Interesting assortment.

And with instructions with that kind of English, it must be Made in China. So, your baby dinosaur is probably toxic with high levels of lead. (chuckle)

Don't let Buzzy find out. He'll be very, very jealous.

When I was doing my teacher placement, these turned up among the "things you can buy at a discount" batches of stuff that some workplaces receive. They were on offer for $6 each... but for some reason I didn't order any. Stupid, I know.
