lederhosen, then spent two days helping twiggystick move into the spare room. And now have a place full of boxes, and a dead or dying fridge and washing machine on the front lawn. Council are picking up the stuff on Friday, so I can add more stuff up to the volume of a small trailer. Guess who's hitting the garage later to empty out boxes!
Why have a friend move in? A few reasons, mostly to do with helping out with the mortgage while we're running two households, and to help out with cooking and housekeeping, because I'm not coping by myself. (Yes, I haveda_norvegicus, but there's a limit).
Have now killed off 85% of the Frithmas Present list, and merely have to work out the difficult ones. Ick. Tired. Want sleep.
