The doctor with his back to us is lederhosen's brother, who happened to be the registrar on duty when José Ramos-Horta was brought into the Royal Darwin Hospital. This continues a fine tradition of many, many photos of lederhosen that for some reason only show the back of his head.

And on a side note, every time I hear the news about the rebel leader Alfredo Reinado, I jump. Because although his name is spelt "Reinado", it's pronounced "Reynardo". And it wasn't me. Honest.
