Minor grump
Aug. 8th, 2002 03:34 pmI shop online for the basics. I learned through bitter experience to use the local fruit-n-veg shop and butcher, but when it comes to packets of flour and cereals and tea, online is about the same cost as going to the local supermarket (and the delivery cost is cheaper than a taxi home).
You go through the major categories (groceries, beverages, frozen, etc) then the subcategories (under groceries come "baking - flour & bread mix", "baking - cake mixes" etc, and then under them are the actual products.
Sorted.
And you can choose how you want them sorted.
Except that each time you reach a screen, the sorting choice goes back to the default.
By "Reward Points" (like frequent flyer points).
Now I prefer to choose by manufacturer, and very occasionally by price. But there is no choice for making the default "by manufacturer".
And there are about 200 sub-categories.
Someone call me a taxi...
