Don't you know the 10 year with option for renewal rule? That was the excuse that scascot and I used for our hand fasting/renewal last year. I saw go for it! The cake topper is very cute and deserves its own ceremony- even if it hasn't been 10 years and the renewal option isn't up for review yet.
