Updates from the Countryside

The dog has been shaved, and has a spiffy new jacket. And the weather is cool enough that getting up in the morning is difficult sometimes :-)

Yes, I'm in Canberra, living with my beloved lederhosen and sharing the house with trixtah. I'm resisting the temptation to buy too much stuff for the house, because we don't want too much duplication with Sydney. We're also trying to work out what actually does need to come down from the old house and what has to stay so that da_norvegicus and his father and twiggystick have enough to use.

Biggest difference: Peak hour is peak-10-minutes.

Biggest annoyance - not having all my stuff here, especially cooking stuff.

Oh - and no doggy door, so Captain Rodenticus (aka dogorcuton) has to either stay out or in - he can't go out by himself.

I could also add that the new one is purple, to match his collar. It's really hard dyeing a ginger fur a decent purple colour. And I doubt he'd stay still long enough for the bleach-first method :-)
