Sometimes I wonder why I bother...
Sep. 28th, 2002 09:44 pmThree whole Management lectures, numerous train trips and a couple of evenings sequestered away with the DMs guide and the Monster Manual, and I finally have a dungeon filled with uglies and nasties and vicious little traps.
And what do the blighters do?
Kill my stirges.
Chuck rocks at my piercers.
And decide to set off the trap from a distance. As in, there's a door that bars from one side only, then 40 feet down there's a pressure plate trap. They retire behind the doorline and throw things at the trap to set it off.
The trap was designed to close the door on them.
Now they're
a) on the unlockable-side of the door
and
b) they know all about how it works.
Bloody elves.
